TMC Leader Seeks Bank to Freeze Party Accounts Amid Internal Rebellion

Recently, Aroop Biswas has issued a letter regarding freezing his bank account. As the internal rebellion is going on and opposition are dominating party.

Recently Aroop Biswas who is Trinamool Congress leader has written to party for seeking an immediate freeze on transaction from his account as the leadership crisis has followed a large-scale rebellion within the organization. According to Biswas he is claiming that arrival groups are now dominating legitimate representatives and office bearers of the party, creating uncertainty.

He posted a letter saying I Aroop Biswas acting in my capacity as a treasurer of all India Trinamool Congress (here in referred to as “AITC”), right to bring to your attention a serious dispute presently prevailing concerning the authority and control of the affairs of AITC. At present rival groups are claiming to be the legitimate representatives and office bearers of AITC, resulting in uncertainty regarding the authority of persons who may see to operate the bank account maintained in the name of AITC”.

According to the leader this particular thing has triggered dispute over the authority control and management of party including its affairs and assets with simultaneously created risk over party funds that could be accessed and utilized by individual whose authority was at first challenged.

It also added” In order to safeguard the funds of organization and prevent any unauthorized withdrawal transfers incumbrances or other transactions I request your good office to maintain status quo and reference from permitting any debit transaction or changes in operation mandates in respect of the following account maintain with your branch until the disputes daily result or appropriate directions are issued by competent authority”.

The letter further stated, ” In view of the present dispute regarding the authority and control of the organization I have strongly and Bonafide apprehension that the opposite sign checks maybe miss used or presented for engagement without proper authorization”.
