Opposition leaders come in unity, opposition party’s top leaders including Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi, leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi Congress president and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, TMC chief Mamta Banerjee, Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Jammu Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah, they all attended the meeting and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray attended the meeting virtually.

Mr. Raut said that they will fight together against the great challenges facing the nation and bring meaningful change in 2029. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge in his opening remarks said that they demonstrated their solidary and unity in decisive manner in Lok Sabha on April 17, 2026, when they stood firmly together to defeat the Modi government malicious bills regarding delimitation.

Mr. Kharge further added that they must now strengthen and carry forward the same spirit to confer the myriad political economic social and foreign policy challenges facing the country due to Modi government misgovernance.

Mr. Kharge also highlighted the fact that economic environment is extremely negative and new investment are not really there the jobs are depleting and no new jobs are generating.

The Congress chief also appointed out the miss management of examination system which crust the hopes and aspiration of youth. Akhilesh Yadav also told reporters that they will decide the agenda in the meeting, and they will surely made effort to move towards a Bandhu Rashtra.
