OnePlus has also affirmed the introduction of its next mid-range smartphones in India, where Nord CE 6 series will be launched on May 7 at 12 PM IST. Two models will be in the line-up the standard Nord CE 6 and the cheaper Nord CE 6 Lite as the company keeps expanding its popular Nord lineup.
The devices will be sold through Amazon as exclusive listings, which will be an indicator of robust online-first sales.
The Design Details were Leaked ahead of the launch
Oneplus has already released teaser images before the official release providing a clear glimpse of the design language of these two smartphones. The Nord CE 6 series seems to have a flat-frame design with a smooth and minimal matte surface.
The Lite edition is depicted in a light green colour whereas the regular model is presented in a light blue colour. A more apparent change is the camera module the Nord CE 6 features a slightly larger and more prominent camera island, which makes it look more high-end than the Lite version.
Expected Performance and Hardware
OnePlus has not revealed all specifications yet; however, preliminary leaks on benchmarks give a reasonable idea of the product specifications.
The Nord CE 6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM, and run on Android 16. Benchmark scores show that there are moderate performance gains implying a gradual upgrade as opposed to a significant jump.

Display, Battery and Camera Expectations
Nord leakage hints that the Nord CE 6 Lite might also have a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and is aimed at regular daily use.
One of its biggest highlights may be battery, which is reported to have a huge 7,000mAh capacity. Provided true, this would render it one of the biggest batteries in its category.
In the case of photography, the device will have:
- Dual rear camera design of 50MP.
- 16MP front camera
This is also likely to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which will align it with its mid range positioning.
Predicted Price and Market Position
The Nord CE 6 Lite will be priced at less than 23,000, and potentially lower than 20,000 with effective pricing. This puts it straight in the competitive middle-range in India.

Probably above it will be the standard Nord CE 6 that has a minimal better performance and design improvements.
