Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released information that REET Mains Admit Card 2026 will be available on January 13, 2026. The admit cards of candidates who applied to the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers can be downloaded either at the official recruitment portal that is rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or at the SSO portal recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.

Candidates are requested to install the admit card with the help of logging in with their application number and date of birth. Once downloaded, they are expected to verify every information printed in the admit card such as their name, roll number, exam time, shift time and the examination venue. The candidates are supposed to report to the board in case of any mistake.

As stated in the official notification released by RSSB, REET Mains written examination is going to be conducted between January 17 to January 20, 2026. The test will be done in several shifts to accommodate the high number of applicants who will present themselves in Level 1 and Level 2 positions.

Level 1 teacher exam of classes 1-5 will be conducted on January 17, 10:00 am 12.30 pm. The Level 2 examination (Science and Mathematics) will be carried out morning shift on January 18 and the Social Studies paper will be conducted in the afternoon shift.

The Level 2 English paper shall be conducted in the morning on the 19th of January and Hindi paper in the afternoon. The Level 2 Sanskrit examination will be held on January 20 in two shifts, in the morning and afternoon. The specific time of every shift will be stated on the admit card of the candidate.

Applicants should not forget to bring with them a print of the admit card and a valid photo identity document which may be Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport to the examination centre.

Candidates have been recommended by the board to arrive at the examination venue at least two hours before the examination in order to go through security and verification processes. The access to the examination hall is normally shut a hour before the exam starts.

REET exam is a major examination of eligibility test of candidates who want to get teaching employment in government schools in Rajasthan. It includes posts of Primary Teacher in Level 1 and posts of Upper Primary Teacher in Level 2. Successful candidates who meet the exam will be able to participate in subsequent teacher recruitment opportunities that will be occasioned by the state.

To pass the assessment, a huge number of applicants were registered in various levels in the former REET examination conducted in 2024. Over 14 lakh candidates had subscribed to the exam. In Level 1, there were more than 3.46 lakh registered candidates whereas approximately there were 9.68 lakh registered in Level 2.

The number of applicants to both levels was approximately 1.14 lakh applicants. The test was carried out in several shifts with the total pass rates being slightly more than 50 percent.
