It has been reported that us and Iran have finally decided to end their war. The tension between US and Iran has been going on for 107days and now things are sorted between them. The Strait of Hormuz has now reopened. It is the narrow waterway, where one fifth of the global oil supplies through ferries takes place.
US President Donald Trump on Sunday June 14, 2026, evening made an announcement where he mentioned about the peace agreement between US and Iran which is going to be signed on June 19th and Switzerland. Mr. Guterres appreciated the announcement and welcomed both United States and Iran for the peace deal that would be happening on June 19 in Switzerland.
“United States and Iran have agreed on a Peace Deal that provides for an immediate and permanent seas fire the re-opening of the strait of Hormuz as well as the framework for further negotiation”. This statement is mentioned by spoke’s person Stephane Dujarric. He also added that this represents a critical step towards the peaceful settlement of conflict.
The secretary general also expressed very deep appreciation for the convenience played by Pakistan Saudi Arabia Turkey and many other regional areas in order to support this negotiation that led to peace deal. Iran’s deputy foreign minister Khazem Gharibabadi confirmed the peace deal agreement on state television.
Well, the peace deal agreement apart from the ceasefire in Strait of Hormuz, it includes many geo-political and economic implication as well. Well, the deal also includes some implication regarding Iran’s nuclear program. The agreement also mentioned the role played by Pakistan and Qatar for creating a friendly and peaceful environment that certainly led to this peace Deal.
