A tragic incident took place on Saturday where 5 Indian Air force personnel met with an accident. AN-32 Aircraft got crashed in Assam, specifically at Roureah Air Force station in Jorhat. Five young personnel are no more, However, one co-pilot survived. Right now, he is admitted in the hospital and is undergoing through treatments. According to reports he has got severe injuries.

The biggest question arises why the incident happened? what was the shortcoming in the aircraft that led to this saddening accident? The names of five Air force personnel are Squadron leader Prashant Singh, Flight lieutenant Shubham Kumar, Sergeant Jitendra Kumar, Agniveervayu Khemaram Kumawat, Agniveervayu Danish Alam.

It has been reported that while the aircraft was landing suddenly it caught fire and lead to this accident, that too happened within the premises of airbase. IAF said, ” today an AN-32 of IAS met with an accident. Further update will be provided once more details are available”.
