According to authorities, two sisters who were set to tie the knot on Saturday were discovered dead in Jodhpur only hours before their wedding festivities.
The deceased, who were identified as Vimla, 23, and Shobha, 25, lived in Manai village and were employed as private school instructors. Officials say festivities around the wedding went on at their house until late Friday evening.
According to Roshan Meena of ADCP (West), the sisters went to bed around midnight. Around four in the morning, their condition abruptly deteriorated, prompting family members to take them to a private hospital in Jodhpur.

Authorities have not yet verified the cause of death, but an initial investigation indicates the sisters may have ingested a toxin.
To ascertain the ultimate cause of the fatalities, investigators are awaiting the postmortem report. According to investigators, no suicide note was found until late on Saturday.

The sisters may have perished after ingesting a poison, according to preliminary inquiry. But according to officials, the precise cause of death won’t be known until the post mortem report is made public.
The two sisters’ terrible deaths, which occurred just one day before their nuptials, shocked Jodhpur and left many issues unanswered while the investigation is ongoing.
