The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now conducted raids this week at more than 25 locations connected to the name of Al-Falah University in Haryana and Delhi.
This has also come up as part of the ongoing investigation into the Delhi car blast that occurred on November 10, 2025.
This blast, which has happened recently near the Red Fort, is being investigated as a suspected terror attack.
Officials also believe that the attackers may have used the aspect of well-planned financial tactics to help fund the operation, including various kinds of shell companies that are being linked to trusted educational institutions.
Among the properties that are being searched are the offices, homes, and even the facilities linked to the university’s trust members.
Earlier reports have also confirmed that three doctors who are associated with Al-Falah University, Dr Umar Nabi, Dr Muzammil Shakeel, and Dr Shaheen Shahid, were also detained by central agencies for their suspected involvement in this case.
Investigators are also now looking into whether they may have helped provide funds or even the shelter for people who are behind the blast.
The ED is also now examining the possible cases of all the money laundering and the links between the university’s finances and even the illegal activities.
A forensic audit of the university has been ordered by the government to detect fraudulent financial transactions.
Reports also suggest that the university falsely claimed NAAC accreditation, leading to a show-cause notice and temporary shutdown of its official website.
This situation has caused fear and confusion among students, staff, and the local community near the university campus. Many are worried about the future of the institution and their own safety as the probe continues.
