Popular actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to tie the knot in a private ceremony in Udaipur on February 26. Preparations for the high profile wedding have already begun, and security arrangements in the city have reportedly been tightened ahead of the celebrations.
According to reports, the wedding will take place at ITC Mementos Udaipur, a luxurious and secluded property located about 25 kilometres away from the main city. The venue is surrounded by the beautiful Aravalli Range, making it an ideal location for a private and intimate celebration away from the public eye.
Earlier, three luxury hotels were being considered for the ceremony. These included The Mementos, Raffles Udaipur and Fairmont Udaipur. After discussions and planning, the couple reportedly finalized ITC Mementos as the venue for their special day.
The property is known for its privacy and grand setting. It has around 117 private villas and a large estate that includes both a river and a lake within the premises. The resort is built across a hill and even has its own private helipad, making it suitable for hosting high profile guests.
Sources say the wedding will be a close and private event rather than a large celebrity gathering. Around 50 close friends and family members are expected to attend the celebrations. Most of the guests are likely to arrive in the city through commercial flights.
Security at the airport and around the wedding venue has reportedly been increased as the couple is expected to arrive in Udaipur soon before the festivities begin. Hotel staff and local authorities are also preparing for the arrival of guests and ensuring that privacy is maintained during the event.
