Actor Vijay Deverakonda appears to be prepared to return to the big screen in 2026. The actor used his official social media accounts on Monday, Republic Day, to reveal the teaser for his forthcoming movie Ranabaali, which was previously known as VD14. Rahul Sankrityan is the director of the film, which will be released in several languages on September 11, 2026. Rashmika Mandanna is another co-star in the film.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna play the key parts in Rahul Sankrityan’s film Ranabaali, which is scheduled for a global cinema release on September 11, 2026. Inspired by actual historical events that occurred between 1854 and 1878, the film is set in 19th-century India.
The producers unveiled an intense glimpse that presents the Ranabaali realm alongside the title announcement. The film shows the hardship brought forth by imperial officials and policies during that time, as well as the harshness of British colonial control.

Vijay Deverakonda makes an appearance as Ranabaali, a ferocious and powerful avatar with an eye-catching new appearance. International actor Arnold Vosloo plays the adversary Sir Theodore Hector, giving the story more depth. Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma.
After Dear Comrade and Khushi, this is Vijay Deverakonda’s third project with production company Mythri Movie Makers, led by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar. Additionally, it brings the actor and director Rahul Sankrityan back together following their last successful film Taxiwaala.
Additionally, according to the press release, Ranabaali revives the popular on-screen coupling of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna following the success of the films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. The music for the movie, which is presented by T-Series, was written by the well-known combo Ajay-Atul.
