Her family posted the depressing news on her official Instagram page, where they said, It is with great sadness that we inform you that Mrs Pravina Deshpande has departed from her heavenly abode on February 17, 2026.

Her death has rocked the film and television industry, to which she was a talented, versatile and professional. Cinema and television artiste association (CINTAA) was another party that expressed its condolences.

In a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, they said, CINTAA regrets the Death of Pravina Deshpande ji, who has been a part of the group since 2008. Numerous colleagues and fans in all parts of India posted emotional messages at the loss of her and recalled her contribution to the field of cinema as well as television.
