The Teacher Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu has declared the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test Results 2025 and the final answer key on the official site, trb.tn.gov.in. The candidates who had taken the examination can now check their results, qualifying status and download their scorecards.
The TNTET 2025 test was in two papers. Paper I will take place on November 15, 2025 and Paper II on November 16, 2025. Both are now officially published on the TRB site in PDF format, so candidates are able to check their performance.
The board has also made one significant change in an important update this year by cutting down the qualifying marks by five per cent, on candidates of the so-called reserved category in teaching posts in Classes 1 to 8. In the result preparation this revised criterion has been used.
The marks of the candidates have been issued following the evaluation of the OMR answer sheets on the basis of final answer key. Subject experts reviewed the final answers and made the decision. According to a government order of January 28, 2026, the ruling of the experts on the answer key is final.
The TNTET 2025 scorecard can be downloaded through the following procedure
Applicants may obtain their TNTET 2025 scorecards in the following ways. Go to the official site trb.tn.gov.in. Hover on the TNTET 2025 results. Choose the applicable link to Paper I or Paper II. Open the result PDF file. Search your roll number in the PDF. Confirm your check marks and qualification status.
The results in the scorecards indicate the marks scored by every candidate and indicate clearly whether a candidate is qualified or not. Applicants are encouraged to save and obtain a copy of their scorecard in the future.
Issuance of eligibility certificates
Board also has declared that the TNTET eligibility certificates will be offered online starting February 2, 2026. The qualified candidates in the examination can download their eligibility certificates through the official portal upon the release.
Eligibility certificate is a document that is of great importance in the candidates who want to apply to teaching jobs in Classes 1 to 8 in Tamil Nadu. It is used as an evidence that the candidate has passed the necessary eligibility criteria set to recruit teachers in the state.
