The JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 result will now be released on February 16, the National Testing Agency (NTA) stated last night. The information bulletin stated that the results were originally expected to be made public by February 12.
Candidates can visit the official websites, nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in, to view their JEE Main 2026 results and cut-off scores after they are announced.
On February 6, the objection period for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 tentative answer key ended. The NTA will make the final answer key available after examining the challenges that applicants have submitted.
Admission to undergraduate programs, such as BE/BTech, BArch, and BPlanning, at participating public and private universities in India will be determined by the results of JEE Main 2026.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam
The first session of the exam was administered via computer from January 21 to January 29. Two shifts each day were used for the exam: morning from 9 AM to 12 PM and afternoon from 3 PM to 6 PM.
The exam period for the BE and BTech papers was January 21–28. Experts and candidates rated the papers as generally reasonably challenging, with some variance in difficulty across subjects and shifts.
The findings of the January session were released by the NTA on February 11 of 2025. The agency removed 12 questions from the final answer key for the exam, which took place between January 22 and January 30.

Other central and state government agencies may use the JEE Main 2026 merit list, scores, and results, according to their own eligibility requirements, standards, laws, and regulations.

The results will not be re-evaluated or re-checked. Regarding this, no reply will be accepted.
JEE Main Result 2026: Whose Results Will Not Be Declared?
Candidates who are found to have used Unfair Means Practices (UMP) shall have their JEE Main 2026 results canceled and not released. Similar to this, candidates’ results will be canceled if they show up from a different center than the one designated or permit someone else to take the test in their place.
According to the applicable UFM regulations, a candidate who appears more than once in the same session will have their nomination revoked and be disqualified. There will be no consideration of any plea in this regard.
