Marco Argenti told that the Wall Street bank has been working with Anthropic engineers integrated within its teams for the past six months to develop autonomous agents for duties like trade and transaction accounting, client due diligence, and onboarding.
With products such Claude Cowork, which completes computer tasks for white-collar workers, Anthropic is pushing for business transactions.
Argenti told, although Goldman is still in the early phases of creating agents based on Anthropic’s Claude model, the technology is anticipated to drastically cut down on the amount of time needed to finish essential operational tasks.

Without providing a timeframe, the bank intends to introduce the agents shortly.
