Authorities checked the premises Monday morning after receiving bomb threat emails at over a dozen Delhi schools, including Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodi Estate and DPS and Bal Bharati in Rohini. According to the authorities, nothing untoward has been discovered thus far.
Security agencies responded quickly when a number of schools in the nation’s capital received bomb threat emails on Monday, which caused concern among children, parents, and school officials. As a precaution, K9 units, bomb detection and disposal squads, and teams from nearby police stations were hurried to the impacted schools.
The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported that a large security reaction was triggered on Monday after at least 15 schools in the national capital and the Parliament received bomb scare threat emails. To protect children and employees, the school’s grounds were immediately cleared out, and thorough anti sabotage inspections were conducted.
Fire tenders and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the sites after receiving emergency calls from several educational institutions located throughout the city in the morning, according to the DFS.
According to officials, eight of these threats turned out to be false. Today, bomb threats were sent to 15 schools in total. Teams from the fire department arrived on the scene right away. Checking is in progress, a DFS representative stated.

As a precaution, the schools were evacuated. Large scale searches are being conducted by dog squads and bomb detection and disposal teams. According to senior police officers, security measures at key facilities in the capital have been reassessed, and cyber teams have been called in to investigate the email’s origin.

Officials stated that while searches were ongoing and more information was awaited, no suspicious object had been found on any of the school’s grounds thus far. This incident is not the first of its kind. Similar bomb threat emails were sent to a number of Delhi schools last month, causing widespread fear and increased security measures throughout the city.
