Three Minor Sisters Jump to Death in Ghaziabad, Diary Shows Rift

Following the dramatic triple suicide in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a disturbing message has emerged. Three young sisters allegedly leaped from their apartment building’s ninth floor after their parents disapproved of their compulsive gaming.

They apologized to their parents and described their gaming habits in an eight-page note they wrote in a pocket notebook prior to the suicide. They watched Korean movies, dramas, web series, and cartoons, and they listened to Korean music, Chetan said, acknowledging the girls’ K-obsession.

They were also interested in visiting Korea. All three of the girls wanted us to embrace Korean culture, but when we refused, they behaved differently and withdrew. He replied, “They were in their own world.”

The girls encouraged their parents to read the full diary, which they wrote in a blend of Hinglish. They emphasized that what is written in the diary is the truth. “Is diary me jo kuch bhi likha hai vo sab padh lo quki ye sab sach hai.” (Read this diary; everything said in it is true.) Read it right away! I sincerely apologize. “I apologize, Papa,” the note said. Then a large weeping emoji appeared.

On one of their room’s walls, one of them also wrote, “I am very, very alone, my life is very very alone.”

At approximately 2:15 in the morning, the three girls, Pakhi, 12, Prachi, 14, and Vishika, 16 locked their room from the inside of Bharat City, a residential township, and then leaped from the balcony window one by one.

Many occupants in the residential complex were awakened by the loud noise. The security personnel and a large number of citizens hurried to examine the source. All three had, however, leaped off by the time the girls’ relatives broke into their room.

According to a senior police officer, the girls were rushed right away to a hospital in Loni, where they were pronounced dead.

The girls allegedly acquired an infatuation with an online Korean game amid the Covid pandemic. They even preserved Korean names for themselves and completed the game’s requirements because of their passion. The siblings’ note, “We can’t leave Korea,” made this clear. Our life is Korea. We cannot be set free by you. Recalling their father, the note stated, “We are ending our lives.”

According to Kumar, he would not have permitted them to play the game if he had known about it. “Whatever took place is awful. I sincerely hope that no other youngster experiences this. I strongly advise parents to forbid their kids from playing video games. I was unaware of this game. I wouldn’t have allowed them to play otherwise,” he remarked.

The girls may not have attended school for the previous two years, according to preliminary investigations. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Nimish Patil, they had been staying at home because of suspected financial difficulties and poor academic performance.
