Forza Horizon 6 has been formally revealed by Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios. With Japan as the setting, the next-generation open-world racing experience from the renowned Forza Horizon series is getting a picturesque makeover.

The new game, which promises to have the biggest map in Forza Horizon history, was practically unveiled during the Xbox Developer Direct. In addition to being a racing game, it will have stunning scenery, genuine Japanese automobile culture, and cutting-edge gaming elements.

On May 19, 2026, Forza Horizon 6 will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S through Steam and the Microsoft Store. It is important to note that on May 15, the Premium Edition gamers’ Early Access begins four days sooner.

The game will be available on the PS5 later this year, according to the makers. Forza Horizon 6 will therefore be accessible on all of the main platforms.

Forza Horizon 6 will have three available editions at launch :

  • Standard Edition ($69.99): The Standard Edition includes the base game with no added benefits.
  • Deluxe Edition (99.99): The Deluxe Edition offers enhanced content alongside the base game. The bonus content includes the car pass and welcome pack.
  • Premium Edition ($119.99): The Premium Edition provides the most comprehensive package. It basically includes the VIP Subscription, Car Pass, Welcome Pack, Time Attack Car Pack, and two post-launch content packs . You also receive a 4-day early access, , allowing you to start the journey on May 15, 2026.

As previously mentioned, Forza Horizon 6 will take place in Japan, a country known for its breathtaking rural-urban contrasts and gorgeous scenery. You will love exploring the enormous map because it will be the biggest map in a Forza Horizon game to date.

Tokyo City is five times larger than Guanajuato in Forza Horizon 5, making it the largest urban region in the game. You will enjoy traveling through mountain passes like Bandai Azuma and Mt. Haruna, as well as roads modeled by the C1 loop and Gingko Avenue.
