Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now said that a country’s real identity is shaped by its culture, traditions, and also by the way of life.
Speaking at a public event, he explained that any nation can progress in terms of economy, technology, or infrastructure, but without the foundation of cultural values, it cannot build a strong or lasting identity.
He thus also stressed that India’s strength lies in its values of ancient heritage, diversity, and spiritual traditions, which have guided society for thousands of years.
Yogi Adityanath has also stated that Indian culture teaches respect, unity, and harmony. According to him, these values thus need to be protected and should be passed on to the younger generation so that they understand the importance of their roots.
He thus also added that when people stay connected to their traditions, they do develop a stronger sense of national pride. This also helps to create a society that is emotionally and culturally confident.
He thus also explained that modern development should move forward hand-in-hand with the idea of cultural preservation. While India is making progress in fields like digital technology, infrastructure, and industry, he said the country must ensure that its cultural identity remains intact and untouched.
He thus also mentioned that countries known for their traditions always stand strong at the forefront because their identity does not depend on temporary achievements.
During the event, Yogi Adityanath also spoke about the various cultural programs and initiatives that are currently being run by the Uttar Pradesh government.
These also include promoting traditional art forms, renovating the ancient temples and heritage sites, and also organising large-scale festivals to showcase India’s rich customs. He also said that these efforts not only preserve history but also boost tourism, create jobs, and strengthen local economies.
The Chief Minister thus reminded the audience that India has always been known as a land of knowledge, spirituality, and a place of moral values. He said that people across the world also look at Indian traditions with admiration, and it is also the responsibility of every citizen to maintain this respect.
He thus encouraged families to teach children about festivals, rituals, languages, and the stories that make India unique.
Yogi Adityanath thus further added that when society remains culturally aware, it also tends to become more disciplined and responsible. He thus urged citizens to take pride in their heritage and also contribute towards building a strong and united nation.
According to him, protecting the nation’s culture is not just the government’s duty but a shared responsibility of all people. The Chief Minister ended his message by saying that India’s future will be brighter only when its traditions continue to inspire the next generation.
