The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM K) has already issued the admit card for the CAT 2025 test. Those candidates preparing for the test, which will take place on November 30, 2025, are now able to enter the portal of the official site, iimcat.ac.in, to receive their hall tickets. The relocation is not especially timely; the admit card was initially scheduled during the first half of November, but it became accessible on November 12, 2025.
The CBT (computer-based test) of this year is going to be conducted in three sessions, in about 170 cities in India. Hall ticket, it is a compulsory entry paper and should be presented at the exam centre together with a valid photo ID. Without the printed admit card, entry will not be allowed.
The admit card has significant information, including the candidate name, CAT ID, registration number, centre of examination, address of examination centre, timetable of slot and instructions for exam day. It is recommended that candidates scrutinise any printed information. Any discrepancy must be communicated early enough to avoid any problems by the time the exam day arrives.
Final preparations take place with the admit cards in hand. The structure of the examinations still follows the 3 parts, namely, Verbal Ability reading and comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA), where one must take the exams in a single block and without switching.
The time and place of reporting should be written on the slot, and instructions to report as printed in the admit card should be noted by the candidates.
Since exam day is just a few weeks away, aspirants are being encouraged to get their admit card as fast as they can, go through all the information thoroughly and think about how they will get to the exam centre, when they will arrive and what they will take with them. The achievement of this stage takes them a step closer to having one of the key tasks in their MBA admissions.
