The Russians launched a widespread military campaign against many parts of Ukraine. The Ukraine rescue crew were sent for immediate rescue missions in regions affected by missile strikes and drone bombings. The recent reports state that Russian attack caused considerable damage to civilian buildings and other important structures. Authorities are still calculating the extent of the damage.
The worse case is the collapse of a building due to the impact of a missile strike. This incident has raised fears among the rescue workers that some individuals may be buried beneath the wreckage of the building. In Kyiv, at least four were killed and 51 were injured.
The Ukrainian government stated that there were air-raid warnings in various places while the attacks occurred. The local government also advised people to stay safe while rescue work was undergoing. This offensive operation is one of many others that have occurred in the recent past.
The two sides have not stopped their military operations, considering that the situation does not seem to be slowing down despite appeals from the international community.
According to military experts, the new attacks come as a continuation of attempts by Russia to put pressure on the Ukrainian forces. The attacks occur while discussions are still being held amongst western partners about aid to Ukraine.
