Vidyut Jammwal Joins Street Fighter Cast: Trailer Unveils Epic Action Scenes

Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal will make his debut in Hollywood with the upcoming adaptation of Street Fighter, a global cast which also includes Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji. The new trailer, which has just been released, has already caught some hype, giving us a preview of an action-laden, stylised world based on the legendary video game series.

The film is planned to be released into theatres on October 16 and will attempt to capture the classic arcade battles onto the big screen with a contemporary cinematic flair. The movie combines a focus on high-intensity action and the use of stylised moments, to recreate the franchise-associated moves and energy. The trailer is dominated by spectacle with its fast-paced martial arts and excessively violent fight choreography.

The role of Vidyut Jammwal is interesting

Vidyut Jammwal can be seen as Dhalsim, one of the most identifiable characters of the game. Being the real-life master of martial arts, Jammwal has been popular among audiences who are used to see him delivering natural action scenes.
